1. What we mean by cookies
Strictly speaking this site does not set traditional cookies for its own features. It uses local storage, a browser mechanism that keeps a handful of small values on your device without attaching them to every request. We call them cookies here because that is the word everyone recognises, and because the banner covers both.
2. Essential storage
Three values are required for the site to behave sensibly:
- your Silver Spark counter, so a refresh does not wipe your session;
- your age confirmation, so the 18+ panel does not reappear on every page;
- your cookie choice, so the banner stays closed once you have answered it.
These cannot be switched off while you use the site, because without them the site cannot remember anything at all. They contain no identifiers and are readable only by your own browser.
3. Optional storage
Choosing Accept all permits aggregate usage measurement — which pages are opened, which terminal is used more often, and roughly what kind of device is being used. Choosing Essential only switches that off. Nothing else changes: every terminal stays fully playable either way.
4. Full key list
That is the whole list. No advertising identifiers, no cross-site trackers, no fingerprinting scripts, no social widgets.
5. Third parties
Web fonts are requested from Google Fonts so the pages render with the intended typefaces. That request is handled by Google under its own terms. The responsible play organisations linked in the footer are independent and set their own storage on their own sites, not on ours.
6. Changing your choice
Clear the site data for silverhavenlabs.com in your browser settings. The banner will appear again on your next visit and you can answer differently. The same action resets your Spark counter to the standard 7,500 SPK starting figure.
Most browsers also offer a private or incognito window, which discards all storage the moment the window closes.
